AI governance coalitions

Trust infrastructure only works in the open. This register tracks the standards bodies and safety coalitions Mnemom is engaging with — and exactly where each membership stands.

Statuses below reflect our current standing and default to “Planned — application pending.” We update a row only once a membership is formally confirmed; we do not claim affiliation before then.
  • Industry body advancing frontier-AI safety research, evaluations, and best practices.

    Planned — application pending
  • Multistakeholder nonprofit developing responsible-AI practices across industry, academia, and civil society.

    Planned — application pending
  • Open engineering consortium behind shared AI benchmarks and safety evaluations (incl. the AILuminate safety benchmark).

    Planned — application pending
  • U.S. NIST-convened consortium developing science-based guidelines for trustworthy and safe AI.

    Planned — application pending
  • Linux Foundation umbrella governing open-source AI and data projects and their stewardship.

    Planned — application pending
  • OASIS open-project industry coalition advancing secure-by-design practices and tooling for AI systems.

    Planned — application pending

Six target coalitions are listed. The first five — FMF, PAI, MLCommons, NIST AISIC, and LF AI — are our named priorities; CoSAI is included as the secure-AI coalition closest to Mnemom’s agent-trust mandate. This list evolves as applications progress.

Building this in the open

Standards work shapes how the agentic internet earns trust. If your organization is part of one of these efforts and wants to compare notes, we’d like to hear from you.
